Happy Girls Trail Half Marathon and 5K Road Run

The Happy Girls Run Sisters is an express trail half marathon and 5K on-road run for women taking place in beautiful Sisters, Oregon. Bring your daughter, sister, aunt, mom or best friend and make it a fabulous Fall weekend in Sisters. The half marathon sold out in 2012, so register now for 2013!
The Happy Girls Run Sisters half marathon is the “trail” version of the extremely popular Happy Girls Run in Bend. The course takes racers through mainly single-track dirt trails, rolling hills and forest areas of the picturesque Peterson Ridge trail system, just outside of Sisters. This half marathon is an “express” race, meaning that participants enjoy a mostly downhill course and speedy running times. The 5K road race winds through scenic downtown Sisters on roads and paved trails, ending at the Five Pine/Three Creeks Brewery campus.
Participants will enjoy a fabulous women’s expo and packet pickup at Five Pine Lodge and Spa, a party at Three Creeks Brewery, and the Sisters Stroll through downtown Sisters. The winners of both the half marathon and 5K races will receive a night’s stay at the beautiful Five Pine Lodge, a one-hour massage at Shibui Spa, and dinner for two at Three Creeks Brewery.

4 pm – 8pm Happy Girls Run Sisters Expo at FivePine Lodge and Spa.
Join participants and friends for the Expo and packet pick up! Your goody bag from packet pick up will contain coupons for the expo’s vendors, so you don’t want to miss out! There will be vendors galore with fabulous items to sample, buy and enjoy. Raffle tickets will be available for $1 and all proceeds will benefit our beneficiary, the Sisters Park and Recreation District. This is a great way to catch up with your running buddies, support Sisters, and get excited for race day!
5 pm – 9 pm Sisters Stroll
Wine and art walk for participants and friends in downtown Sisters.

7:30am First shuttle leaves Five Pine for the half-marathon starting line.
8:30am Last shuttle leaves Five Pine.
Half marathon runners: It is your responsibility to get to the half marathon start line on time. If you miss the shuttle you are responsible for finding transportation to the start line. There is no parking at the top of Peterson Ridge.
9:00am Half Marathon Start at top of Peterson Ridge
9:30am 5K Start at Five Pine.
